APA’s Academic Writer has announced that new features are on their way to help instructors teach, and students master, APA Style. Along with these new features, Academic Writer will be updated to match the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7th ed.) ,but not until 2020.
The new manual also includes supplemental resources that include guidelines that make writing more accessible and inclusive. These include accessible color, headings, URLS and typography, along with examples of bias-free language, and journal article reporting standards.
