Laptop Checkout

In response to the impacts of COVID-19 on academic instruction, a laptop loan program has been launched to support students who lack adequate computing resources. Due to a limited inventory of suitable laptops, we need the assistance of the entire USF student success community to identify and prioritize potential borrowers.

Attention: All available laptops have been loaned out for the Fall 2021 semester. We are no longer accepting wait list submissions for this semester. Computer labs are available in the Tampa library.

A limited number of laptops are available for Semester Loan by visiting the Library Services Desk during regular business hours or remotely by one of the methods below. Students can request a laptop loan in several ways:

  • Submit your Laptop Loan Request via this form: https://lib.usf.edu/forms/laptop-loan-request/
  • Faculty can submit via Canvas by using the drop-down menu and selecting Academic Progress
  • Student Success staff with access to Archivum Insights can refer via that platform to the assigned Academic Advocate
  • All other staff can submit a referral by submitting a Laptop Loan Request via this form using the student’s name and U number: https://lib.usf.edu/forms/laptop-loan-request/
