The USF Libraries are proud to celebrate Earth Day 2024! We are committed to the preservation and accessibility of data-driven resources concerning the impact of Florida’s natural environment.
Take some time this Earth Day to explore our Florida Environment and Natural History (FLENH) collections. Spanning from the 1930’s to present-day, these FLENH meta-collections of data, archives, books, reports, and other media serve as an entry point for scholars studying topics ranging from marine science to ornithology, climate change, and environmental policy. FLENH’s collections continue to grow as faculty and staff actively collect research materials on the forever-changing environments of Florida.
Beginning over 50 years ago, Earth Day signifies an annual celebration on April 22nd to honor the contributions of the environmental movement. The day also aims to raise awareness of the need to protect Earth’s natural resources for generations to come.
