The week of September 18-24 is Banned Books Week sponsored by the American Library Association. Banned Books Week celebrates the freedom to read and spotlights current and historical attempts to censor books in libraries and schools. Unite Against Book Bans is a national movement to empower readers everywhere to stand together in the fight against censorship. More about banned books, academic freedom and free speech from the USF Libraries can be found at our Academic Freedom and the Inclusive and Equitable Classroom Guide.
