The Academy for Teaching and Learning Excellence (ATLE) has provided some terrific resources for faculty who want to help students learn better reading, test prepping, and studying skills. First, there is this one-page handout that tells students what study skills successful students have. Second, if more in-depth assistance is needed, check out this 18 page booklet that offers 101 tips about study skills and note-taking. Finally, ATLE offers a Canvas page one can import into your course here (inside your target Canvas course, click settings, then import, and select “Canvas course export package” and upload the .imscc file).
