If you have new or transfer students attending your classes this summer, you can orient them to the library remotely in a number of ways. First, you can add your liaison librarian to your Canvas course where he or she can add a library instruction module, along with links to required library e-books on your syllabus to help students lower textbook costs. Second, you can point students to the Learn it Online modules available on the web. These show students how to use the catalog, navigate the library website, access databases, sign in from off campus, use interlibrary loan and avoid plagiarism.
