The role of University Librarian is the pinnacle of a librarian’s career, an ascension to the highest level of faculty on a university campus. Tomaro Taylor’s accomplishments, efforts, and body of work have contributed substantially to the betterment of the USF Libraries and to the profession, and being named University Librarian is well deserved.

Summer 2019 in Special Collections

USF Libraries Special Collections will start summer hours Monday, June 3rd to audit existing collections and process exciting new ones

Special Collections is a unit within the USF Libraries that is, well, special. It houses rare and interesting books, photographs, music, and more. This summer, the Special Collections staff will be taking a holistic assessment of current collections and processing new ones. In order to do so, their hours will be adjusted for the summer only: Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., and by appointment.
