How has the Library contributed toward your academic goals?

Having eResources available, Library Science books in the stacks, and Textbooks via Course Reserves has meant that I have had virtually no book expenses for my entire degree.

How has working at the Library aided in your career goals?

Having access to all the different library departments and institutional knowledge has helped increased my knowledge of libraries and the university.

What are the next steps in your career?

I look forward to continuing to work for the USF Libraries and be as helpful as possible to all departments and campuses.

What advice would you give someone on a similar path as yours?

Continue your education, even during the summer and even when you feel it is too much to take on…it is worth it!

How has it been working and studying during the pandemic? How did you balance it all?

The degree is based solely online, so luckily that did not change studying, classwork, etc.

What’s one skill or fact you learned about yourself over the past year of the pandemic?

I need interaction with other people more than I thought I did. It has changed my outlook on life from turning down invitations to activities to being the person that plans and instigates activities.

What are you most excited to get back to?

Concerts! I cannot wait to go to a Hootie & The Blowfish concert again.

Congratulations on graduating, Terry! Thank you for your ongoing and many contributions to the USF Libraries. We’re lucky to have you. GO BULLS! 🤘
