The public domain is a treasure trove of knowledge, creativity, and cultural heritage. It encompasses works whose intellectual property rights have expired, been forfeited, or are inapplicable. These works are free for anyone to use, share, and build upon without restriction.

Each year, more material reaches the end of its copyright protection and falls into the public domain. And each year, the USF Libraries invite our community to participate in selecting which public domain works from the Libraries’ collections will be digitized and made freely available online. Your vote is crucial in shaping the future of our digital collections and ensuring that valuable cultural and historical materials are accessible to everyone.

Pick up to 26 titles from the list below for digitization!
