Join award-winning Young Adult author & USF ’65 alumna Lurlene McDaniel for Coffee and Conversation at the USF Tampa Library Thursday, November 7th, where she’ll be answering questions and signing her most recent novel, The Girl with the Broken Heart.
Lurlene is one of the most prolific Young Adult authors in the country, authoring over 70 books, with millions of copies sold. Her inspirational novels are compelling, realistic stories about young adults facing trauma, and are known for leaving lasting hopeful impressions on her readers.
Lurlene is not only a USF alumna; she was the co-editor of first Oracle yearbook, and started the campus group Fides sorority, which was elected to become Tri Delta when Greeks were welcomed to USF Tampa campus.
