Belonging and Equitable Access Committee

Charge:

  • Identify, partner, and engage the USF Libraries, university, and community to promote initiatives that broaden and foster equitable access, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Communicate USF Libraries’ efforts, activities, and initiatives related to equitable access, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Provide professional development opportunities for all members of staff at USF Libraries related to equitable access, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Assess library services, collections, and research efforts in terms of equitable access, inclusion, and belonging and offer recommendations to University Libraries administration.
 

2024-2025 Goals:

  • Coordinate one public event a semester and collaborate with partners on events when possible
  • Provide one professional development opportunity relating to BEA for library staff per semester
  • Support and promote BEA work being done by USF Libraries
