USF Libraries is committed to providing safe and welcoming spaces for all students. This page includes information on inclusive spaces at our three campus library locations. You will find information about designated quiet areas, group study rooms, all-gender restrooms, and more. The following expandable sections provide additional details and contact information for each location.

  • Study rooms: Total of eleven first come, first served rooms do not require reservation. Computer equipment in rooms are only available to USF students, staff, and faculty.
  • Restrooms: Family Restroom with changing table (first floor)
  • Tranquility Zone – Lactation/Prayer/Meditation Room (Second Floor): Quiet space and an open floor space for mindful practices. The space includes surface sanitation wipes, access to outlets, a trashcan, a space for additional children to sit, and a meditation floor cushion. Our Lactation/Prayer/Meditation Room (POY 248) is available to students, staff, and faculty during open library hours. See library service desk to check out a key.
  • Group Study: 1st Floor For people wishing to study in groups, talking permitted
  • Quiet Study: 2nd Floor For people wishing to study quietly, some talking ok. White noise machines available for check out
  • Silent Study: 3rd floor For people wishing to study silently
  • Chillville: 1st Floor A relaxed space with coloring, puzzles, games, a massage chair for students to relax and unwind in between studying
  • Second floor is a designated quiet study area
  • Third floor floor is a designated silent study area

  • Restrooms: Two Family restrooms with changing tables are located close to the information Commons area.
  • Accessibility Software: One reserved computer workspace with dedicated accessibility software
  • Study Room: One small study room. Any student may reserve it, though priority is given to groups of students
  • Spaces: The vast majority of furniture is movable and can be shifted to support unique student needs
  • Quiet Technologies: Earplugs and headphones are provided by request to students in need.
