May 19 is the application deadline for USF Libraries awards and scholarships!

USF Libraries scholarships and awards 2023

Research awards, essay prizes, and scholarships are available in a variety of topics including:

 LGBT Research Award, Tampa campus, up to $500–submit an essay about how you will be incorporating LGBTQ+ materials into your studies. 

 Dr. John Ogden Coral Reef Collection Scholarship, up to $500– write an essay describing how you will utilize the Dr. John Ogden Coral Reef Collection in your studies.

Tampa Chapter of The Links, Inc. Scholarship, up to $500– submit a 300-word essay describing how you will utilize The Links’ archival records in your studies. Preference for a student who is actively engaged in the African American community and/or the USF Institute on Black Life.

Patrick Riordan Memorial Research Award in Florida Studies, up to $2500– submit an essay about the nature of your study and how the specific resources in the USF Libraries Florida Studies collections are crucial to your research interests.

Please note that some awards have different applications and not all are accessed through AwardSpring.
