Availability
To be sure materials are ready for your students for the first week of class, requests should be submitted as early as possible before the beginning of the term. The Library will order new books and videos required for course reserves. New orders usually require six to eight weeks to purchase.All requests must be submitted through Canvas
MAKE A RESERVE REQUESTRequest for print reserve, electronic reserve and streaming media to be added to your course in Canvas.
This service is available for all three campuses: Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota-Manatee.
USF Tampa campus:
email your questions to libreserves@usf.edu- Print Reserves: Are made available to students at the USF Tampa campus library, 1st Floor Library Services Desk. Instructors may place their personal copies of books and other materials on Reserve for students to use during the semester.
- Electronic Reserves: are made available to students on their Canvas course.
- DVDs: can be scheduled for pick up for specific lecture dates via the Media Scheduling Services form.
USF St. Petersburg campus:
email your questions to usfsp-circulation@usf.edu- Print reserves: Are made available to students at the USF St. Petersburg campus library, 1st Floor Library Services Desk. Instructors may place their personal copies of books and other materials on Reserve for students to use during the semester.
- Electronic Reserves: Faculty can make electronic reserves available to students on their Canvas course.
- VHS and DVDs: can be checked out for one week for faculty to show in their classes. We encourage faculty to then add these materials to the course reserves.
USF Sarasota-Manatee campus:
