USF Tampa Library
Turns 50
The USF Tampa Library
turns 50 in 2025!
This exhibit explores the expansion of the library from a small set of stacks in the Allen Building to the seven-story hub in use today.
One of four libraries at the University of South Florida, the main library on the Tampa campus serves as the home to physical stacks of books and media, computer and multi-modal labs, and instruction space. With a coffee shop in the lobby, students are able to work around the clock during the week as the library offers 24/5 hours.
Jump to the Exhibit now to learn about the history of the building, its patrons, and the people who keep it running.
