Academic Motherhood is based on a longitudinal study that takes a look at women faculty on the tenure track and how they manage work and family issues early in their careers when their children are young and then again in mid-career when children are older. It offers family-friendly policy recommendations for faculty, their departments and their institutions. This is a very helpful book in light of how the added stress of COVID-19 has impacted mothers.
