As part of the new workshop series on information literacy, the USF Libraries has created “Find History.” Instructors with historical research assignments can assign this workshop to students for credit or extra credit. Students who complete the workshop earn a badge, which can be turned in for proof of participation. Students who take this online workshop will learn how to:
1) Identify databases for historical research
2) Locate special collections and archival resources, physical and digital
3) Find and evaluate primary and secondary sources
3) Learn how to obtain materials the library does not own.
