Several dedicated ornithologists and birders across the state have shared their expertise to draft species and taxa accounts for the atlas. The Florida Breeding Bird Atlas II is a work in progress with new accounts published weekly. All 206 accounts will be published by the end of 2023.<\/a><\/p>\n \u00a0Readers can browse accounts by Orders and Families from the Species Accounts tab. Each account includes a summary of breeding behavior, maps illustrating sightings, and other points of data. Most accounts also include photographs from Florida-based birders, as well as a line-drawing from artist Diane Pierce.<\/p>\n
