Research Methods and Directed Research Courses
A number of programs offer courses that provide an overview of the research methods and processes utilized within a particular discipline. Enrolling in one of these courses provides the opportunity to determine if independent research interests you and can also provide material for future research projects. In addition, there are a number of faculty who incorporate a research experience within the course curriculum. Use the drop down menu to identify courses within each program. Note that not all courses will be offered each semester and a permit from the instructor may be required to register. It is also important to speak with your academic advisor and peers to identify specific courses that contain research experiences.
